Welcome to the Valley.

I started playing Stardew Valley two weeks ago. Who would have thought watering crops and chatting with the locals such fun… yet it is. You join Stardew Valley as the new farmer in town. The game reminded me of a mix between Terraria and Evoland. Your year is sectioned into the four seasons. Spring, summer, fall and winter. I loved how laid back the game is. You can take it in any direction. Whether that be romance, serial miner, master cropsman and so on…

There is so much in the game, if you find yourself getting bored with the farm you can go mining in the mines or fishing on the docks. There are errands to run for the valley folk. At the start of each year a new event will happen. I am up to year three so will be interested to see what happens in year four and so on.

There is the chance to get married to a single town’s person whether that is male or female. You can also have children when your house has been upgraded.

I found as I was playing it was as though I was on the farm itself in the beautiful Valley. So why not see what it’s all about and get lost in the idyllic  Stardew Valley.
